Winemaker, Hog farmer, mortgage banker, teacher, entrepreneur, marketing maven and founder of Our Kids Future Foundation -lets face it, it took awhile for Jeff Strickland to focus on his life's passion.  "Not that I didn't do well at all those undertakings, mind you," he says with his lop-sided grin. "It's more like they were parts of a puzzle I was fitting together for my future undertakings".

Over the years, Jeff has woven together his life, military and business experiences into a personal philosophy that has developed into a lifestyle. "After all," he says, "if a belief system doesn't work in the real world, it doesn't make much difference how good it sounds. I admit that I had to make a lot of adjustments to my theories when I began trying to live by them back in the late 60s, but eventually it only served to strengthen my faith in my original assumptions."

An explanation of his beliefs would take quite a while to explain, which he will be happy to undertake for as long as interest is shown. They encompass work, play and relationships, and are based on the belief that there don't have to be any losers in The Game of Life. "Even as a child I never understood why there had to be winners and losers, and that you would be treated differently in business than in personal affairs. It took me years to realize that even in sports for the talented athlete, a loss is just as valuable as a win to the individual because of what is learned. Perhaps it's even more valuable than winning in the long run, although winning does feel good".

Today Jeff is directing his free time, what little their is, at running Our Kids Future Foundation, "Attitudes are already developed by the time people reach adulthood, so if we want to help make this world a better place, we've got to begin with the kids".

Recently he's been involved in launching a program called okPages.net to help new entrepreneurs to start their own businesses. In addition, he's involved in the design of a cyber community using appropriate technology and sustainable resources (and saving some beautiful trees in the bargain).
